Economics Department Helps Chart State’s Fiscal Future

These days, Hawaii’s economy is the best it’s been in the past ten to 15 years, according to Carl Bonham, an associate professor and undergraduate chair of the economics department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Ethnic Studies a Living Classroom

Stepping outside of the classroom is stepping into the real classroom of Ethnic Studies – Hawai’i itself.

Not only are students able to study Hawai’i’s abundance of diverse people, they also are able to study people of Asia, the Mainland and islands of the Pacific because of the state’s locale.
