“There’s grant money all over the place. It’s a matter
of finding it and some faculty are good at it and know where to find
it, some are just learning,” says Michael Hamnett, outgoing director
of the Social Sciences Research Institute.
Hamnett has just been named executive director and chief operating director
of the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii. Before he assumes
the new post in June, he shared his thoughts about SSRI’s processes
